From Meriden and points North (via Merritt Pkwy):
Take Merritt Pkwy South (Route 15) to Exit (52) for Routes 8,25,108. Bear
right to Route 8 North. Take Exit 11 (Huntington St.). Turn left at the end of
the ramp and follow Huntington Street. You will pass a reservoir on your left and continue to the
Huntington Green.At the light at the end of the Green, take a left, then bear
right onto Ripton Road. Continue for 1.2 miles to Mohegan Road on the left. Take
the Left onto Mohegan Road and proceed 4/10ths mile to the driveway ("Shelton
Recreation Center Nike Site sign") just past Mohegan School on the Right. Park
in the lot on the right, Baseball fields are down to the right.
From Fairfield and points South (via Merritt Pkwy):
Take Merritt Pkwy north (Route 15) North to Exit 52 (Route 8). Continue to Exit
11 (Huntington Street). Turn left at the end of the ramp and
follow Huntington Street. You will pass a reservoir on your left and continue to
the Huntington Green. At the light at the end of the Green, take a left, then
bear right onto Ripton Road. Continue for 1.2 miles to Mohegan Road on the left.
Take the Left onto Mohegan Road and proceed 4/10ths mile to the driveway
("Shelton Recreation Center Nike Site sign") just past Mohegan School on the
Right. Park in the lot on the right, Baseball fields are down to the right.
From Danbury and points West (Rt 84):
Take I84 East to Exit for Route 25 South (in Newtown). Continue on Route 25
South into Monroe taking a left onto Purdy Hill Road. (1st light after Sippin
Cycles). Continue on Purdy Hill Road to and over Route 111 (the traffic light).
At the second stop sign after the light take a Right onto Elm Street. At the
next 2 stop signs
continue straight. You are now on Mohegan Road. Continue on Mohegan Road to the
Driveway just Before
Mohegan School on the Left Driveway ("Shelton Recreation Center Nike Site sign")
just past Mohegan School on the Right. Park in the lot on the right, Baseball
fields are down to the right.
From Naugatuck and points North:
Take Route 8 South to Exit 11 (Bridgeport Ave, Shelton), take a Right at end
of Exit. Continue Bridgeport Ave. to the 3rd light (Staples on right, Fleet Bank
on
left). Turn left onto Trap Falls Rd. Follow Trap Falls Rd. to the stop sign and
take a right onto Huntington Street. You will pass a reservoir on your left and
continue to the Huntington Green At the light at the end of the Green, take a
left, then bear right onto Ripton Road. Continue for 1.2 miles to Mohegan Road
on the left. Take the Left onto Mohegan Road and proceed 4/10ths mile to the
driveway ("Shelton Recreation Center Nike Site sign") just past Mohegan School
on the Right. Park in the lot on the right, Baseball fields are down to the
right.
From Milford and points North (via I95):
Take I95 South to Exit 38 (Merritt Parkway Connector). Take Connector to
Merritt Parkway South (RT 15). Follow Rt 15 South to Exit 52 (Route 8). Bear
right to Route 8 North and continue to Exit 11. Turn left at the end of
the ramp and follow Huntington Street. You will pass a reservoir on your left
and continue to the Huntington Green. At the light at the end of the
Green, take a left, then bear right onto Ripton Road. Continue for 1.2
miles to Mohegan Road on the left. Take the Left onto Mohegan Road and proceed
4/10ths mile to the driveway ("Shelton Recreation Center Nike Site sign") just
past Mohegan School on the Right. Park in the lot on the right, Baseball fields
are down to the right.
From Fairfield and points South (via I95):
Take I95 North to Exit 27A (Rt 8&25). Stay on Route 8 North (bear Right at Route
8 & 25 split), Continue on Route 8 north to Exit 11 (Huntington Street). Turn
left at the end of the ramp and follow Huntington Street. You will pass a
reservoir on your left and continue to the Huntington Green. At the light at the
end of the Green, take a left, then bear right onto Ripton Road. Continue for
1.2 miles to Mohegan Road on the left. Take the Left onto Mohegan Road and
proceed 4/10ths mile to the driveway ("Shelton Recreation Center Nike Site
sign") just past Mohegan School on the Right. Park in the lot on the right,
